Spanish Practice: Ordering at a Tapas Bar
¡Bienvenido a La Taberna! - With Language Coaching
🎯 What is Coaching Mode?
This is a special learning-focused version of the tapas bar scenario. The avatar plays both a Spanish waiter AND your language coach.
How it works:
- Avatar speaks to you in Spanish as the waiter
- You respond in Spanish
- Avatar switches to English - provides brief language coaching (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation)
- Avatar returns to Spanish waiter role and continues
- This pattern repeats throughout your restaurant visit
YOU: "Quiero uno cerveza, por favor."
COACH (English): "Good job using 'Quiero'! Just remember 'cerveza' is feminine, so it's 'una cerveza' not 'uno cerveza.'"
WAITER (Spanish): "Perfecto, una cerveza. ¿Algo más de beber?"
Best for: Learning vocabulary, practicing grammar, building confidence in real conversations
Next step: After coaching sessions, try the Practice Mode for immersive Spanish-only conversation
